Our Story

Nicole lives and makes candles in Seattle, WA. She is candle obsessed, and founded Blank Slate to solve several problems: 

1. She wants to light all her candles at once. The scent-conflict is real. 
2. After awhile, a scented candle can give her a headache :( 
3. Wood wicks are the new hotness. And there are not enough gorgeous candles using them. 

She went searching for a wood wick, fragrance free candle and came up short. So, why not make them? 

After exhaustive research and testing, she landed on the perfect formula for a wood wick, fragrance free candle. And now, that candle is available to purchase.
